I have been a loyal Mercury Insurance customer for eight years, since purchasing my first car. Unfortunately, what was once a trustworthy, family-oriented business has completely lost its integrity and accountability. This business was so much better when Cathy and Rocio were there!

In April, my premium increased by $100 without a clear explanation. Now, my latest renewal has nearly DOUBLED! When I questioned why, I was initially told it was because I commute to work, despite the fact that **I WORK REMOTELY.** Then I was told I had driven 28,000 miles in SIX MONTHS, which is completely inaccurate. I spent two days gathering mechanical records and odometer documentation proving I had only driven approximately 13,000 miles in TEN MONTHS.

Despite providing evidence, I was told they wouldn't reexamine my policy for another THREE MONTHS! **How is it acceptable to charge customers based on inaccurate information and then refuse to promptly correct it?**

This raises serious concerns about potential **insurance fraud, misrepresentation, and questionable business practices.** I am not claiming fraud has been proven, but I believe these discrepancies warrant an investigation. Nobody has explained where the false mileage information came from or taken accountability.

After eight years of loyalty, I am beyond disappointed. What started as a reputable family business now feels like a money-making scheme. **I WILL NEVER RETURN!** I strongly encourage others to carefully review their premiums and mileage records. staff have always been very helpful in understanding the insurance costs and finding the best coverage for our needs.
They were also helpful when we had a claim.
It is great not to have to worry about that part of our financial commitments.
